WOMEN IN VR SHOWCASE
In 2019, Global Voices Film Festival hosted our second VR film festival. The showcase featured inventive, independently produced works of fiction or documentaries—submitted by VR film directors, producers, and technologists—that highlight female narratives from around the world. This cutting-edge platform has the potential to provide an avenue for storytellers to exhibit full, immersive stories and really show what this new medium is capable of, and we were excited to bring it all to you at the GoPro headquarters in San Mateo, California, followed by a panel discussion.
In 2020, we are not planning to host this event. But you can see below details of last year event.
