The UN Women USA San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA) chapter envisioned a world where being female is no longer a motive for discrimination, exploitation or violence, where a person’s gender does not stipulate the human rights they receive, and where women, men, girls, and boys are all inspired to empower each other’s potential. We were an independent non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization whose fundraising efforts support the programs of UN Women.

The UN Women USA San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA) Chapter developed events and partnerships to educate and engage local communities about global women issues, as well as raised funds to provide key financial support for UN Women programs and initiatives that promoted the social, political and economic equality of women and girls across the world.
